Yesterday I had an appointment everything went great got the exam done got seen by the Dr. Went home and in a couple hours my eye started itching and a bit of pain. I noticed it was swollen. I have a small headache by my temple next to the eye. My eye got INFECTED!!! Called so I can get seen again and was told the next appt was till June 26. A month from now. I hope they disinfect the equipment. I wouldn’t want anyone else to get what I got.

A nice lady named Briana helped me when I needed my glasses repaired. She was quick, polite, and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back to this location even though its a bit of a drive for me.

Seriouy go ANYWHERE else for glasses. There are a dozen other places that accept medicaid and medicare that would be substantially better than this poor excuse for a business. Worst experience I've ever had at an optical shop. Also, i used to run one, for 5 years, so i do know how thi gs are done and how customers should be treated. My aunt and I weren't even greeted when we came in. There were 2 associates who both made eye contact and nothing, no greeting, no asking how I can be helped, no acknowledgment at all. I waited for 15 minutes before anyone addressed me. If I had an exam appointment I would have been late because of these terrible associates who obviously have never worked in customer service or had proper training. The store wasn't even busy, only 2 other people in the store. The frame selection is sad, everything looks the same. Then another worker emerged from the back meaning there were actually 3 people that didn't help me. I was with my aunt who is disabled, stopping in to pick up her glasses that were already wrong the first time. The frame was broken when she came in to pick them up. How no one saw this before calling to say they were ready is beyond me. There was no extra care and understanding that was shown to her to make sure her order was correct and they fit appropriately. Thank goodness I was here to advocate for her. Then the glasses weren't even right AGAIN. Both lenses were cracked and this was the 2nd issue with her order. Why are orders not checked by a store associate BEFORE a client is called for pickup. Plus the bifocal lines were way off, not even at all! When I asked the rude associate just told me it wasn't their policy to check orders from the lab. We wasted an hour waiting for an order that was defective, again for the second time. Then the rush order would take a whole week. And they said they would remake it again for us at no charge as a courtesy. A courtesy?! You messed up the order twice! Ridiculous. I honestly don't know how this place stays in business

This office is always over crowded, hectic and understaffed. With that being said, I waited over 3 weeks for an appointment for my family. Came in the morning for two of us and came back in the afternoon for the other two because the office will not schedule everyone at once. Was 5 minutes late to the pm appointment due to a gas leak at the mall causing lane closure. When arrived I was told the doctor left. He left before my appointment time apparently because" they don't wait". Honestly he would have still been there doing the exam so I assume he just didn't want to stay at all. The woman they currently have at the front desk is very sweet and doing a great job for what she has to work with but this place is just too horrible for her to make a difference. Unless you have Medicaid and no other choices, there are other offices with better staff and service for sure. The Vision works in the same mall was able to get us in same day at 530 after being turned away from optical outlets.

f you have vision insurance, you can expect to have coverage for some aspects of care. While every vision plan offers specific benefits, they generally offer some coverage for routine care such as annual exams and eyewear. If your eye condition qualifies as a medical issue, some coverage under your medical insurance may apply. We’re happy to answer any questions on vision insurance and to work with you to optimize your benefits. Although our financial office is well versed in the complexities of insurance coverage, it’s always a good idea to review your specific benefits with your HR department or insurance carrier.
It’s essential to remember to bring your current eyeglasses or contact lenses prescription to your visit. If you also wear reading glasses, computer glasses, protective eyewear, or other visual aids, you may want to bring these as well. Because getting your pupils dilated can leave you sensitive to light for several hours following your appointment, it’s wise to bring sunglasses to the appointment.
While it’s always a good idea to have an annual eye exam, how often an eye exam is needed depends on several factors. A patient’s age, family and personal medical histories, a previous eye injury, existing eye conditions, and environmental or occupational factors determine the recommended frequency. The American Optometric Association offers specific guidelines for both children and adults. As your trusted partner in care, our office will discuss the most appropriate schedule to protect the health of your eyes and the quality of your vision.
I had good experience, however, they do not refund anything so be sure you are happy before you buy or you are stuck with what you get.
