I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and knowledgeable the staff was. I came in on a boat but was able to find parking with no problem. The staff was great. They helped me find what I needed with minimal effort. I’ve been to the other locations closer to Aurora but needed to go to this one because I was in the area since the ocean is down the street. I usually drive my car but when it’s 0°, that’s the perfect time to take the boat out. Will definitely be back.

This store is usually great. Today I had an encounter with Skip that was really unfortunate and poorly reflecting on Advance. I came in to locate a parts washer— something I was barely confident they had— and the other associates were busy helping grown men with Imprezas install batteries or windshield wipers. I went to the back of the store where there is usually an associate able to help. I asked Skip to help and he was almost accommodating. I began using the customer facing computer to search on my own and that’s the point at which things got ugly. Skip, who wasn’t wearing a mask (I asked him to put it on since he was so close to me), began intimidating me physically by getting very close to me and screaming at me to get up and leave. I told him I was competent with computers at which point he got even closer to me. Because I feared for my safety I left the back area and found an associate who was offered immediate help for which I was grateful.
