A great group of people! They are friendly and happy to share knowledge and skills they've picked up over the years, as well as places to go. They have field trips and a lapidary shop to cut and polish all of your finds!

Hello, is this the club that used to have an annual show at the Armory on 33rd in Portland? If so, when is the next one?

Close, it is held in the spring at the armory at 6255 ne cornfoot, so the next one is in 2019. There is a (multi-club) regional gem and mineral show at the clackamas fairgrounds oct.12-14 2018

Hi Sheryl, we use Stellar Lubricants for our club lapidary shop and our members and we are very happy with it. I am not sure where you can purchase that publicly, except directly through them when they are in town. You could contact them to see. I have also heard from a few people who purchase cutting oil from Marc Nelson Oil down in Canby. Good luck!
