Great to have McDermott Pool and a terrific pool staff helping us.

There was not a lot of seating, the locker rooms were enough to hold a small team but not a big team. Very small arena and ice was very hard.

This rink may be one of the oldest, crapiest rinks I have coached in, over the last 5 years, playing in NJ, NY, NYC, PA, MD, RI, MA, DC, and DE. The ice was horrible, a swamp... puddles in the 3rd period, and it was only 83 degrees out, any hotter it would have been a pool and not a rink. No dehumidifier running, glass was condensated on both sides. The locker rooms were like saunas, no air conditioning. I gave it two stars because, the game started on time, and well... I love hockey.

Arriving at the place for the first time was confusing to find the entrance. The main entrance nobody use. There are other two additional entrances commonly used, direct to the two rinks. Those entrances are at the corner of the two connecting buildings. They look like leading underground to the basement or something. First impression is not welcoming. Inside the smaller rink has very limited sitting space for viewers but was heated which was nice. Locker rooms are small. To go from one rink to the other you have to go through where the zamboni is. By default in other rinks nobody goes through the zamboni's area. Oddly enough the office is there. The only place where you can ask for the ice schedule which otherwise is no where to be found.

Is it really only $3.00 for Public Skate? That seems too good to be true...
