The one star is for the price that was offered on Groupon. Nothing else deserved a star. We went to the kiosk to redeem the coupon. The man on duty grabbed my phone, said that the tickets were redeemed and that we cannot go any other day. He only then told us that we have only one hour left to complete the tour, without the option of getting off or back on, as this was the last round for the day. He could have advised us of this when we approached him, so that we at least had the option of moving our plans to the next day. When I asked him if the tickets were valid for 24 hours, he said "no", and that it was too late to change it. Horribly rude employee. We then got on the bus and the driver constantly yelled at the adults on the bus whenever they spoke. He had a weird need to be the only person talking. Although very knowledgeable, the experience was very unpleasant, as he treated us like children. There was a torrential downpour halfway through the trip, and although he kept saying he would put the screens down, he never stopped for long enough to do it: we were all drenched, all the seats were wet and there was a river running on the floor. The driver sat protected by his screen, and was more worried about the condensation that would form on the screens if they were lowered than about the passengers freezing in the rain. We left halfway and chose to dodge the lighting rather than be berated and drowned. Terrible experience and I would not recommend this company or the employees at all. There are many other operators to choose from, and I sure wish we did.

My husband and I enjoyed the tour of Boston and the information the guides gave and we do think it was worth the price. However, one of the drivers yelled at people several times for talking! It is not reasonable to expect people to be silent. He said everything people said was echoing up front but that’s not our problem! This tour company needs to do something to fix the echo issue so paying customers don’t get yelled at.

What a great experience! Our guide was fun and knew his Boston history. Great option for anyone visiting with ability to hop on and hop off throughout the city.

We loved the Trolley experience! Appreciated the tour guides historical knowledge of the city. She did not introduce herself. Waiting for the trolley seems like it could be tricky and frustrating based on traffic, maybe an app for guest to use so they can tell when the trolley is estimated to be at a specific spot might be helpful. It's great to get a brief overview, so you can decide what activities you might want to take a further look at. I encourage participation.

One of the stops is at the cruise port
Stop 1 or 6
There are a couple garages near Long Wharf and a couple open lots (cheaper) a short walk toward north end near the water. Google parking in Boston and youll see what's around Long Wharf.
Yes
No. City View Trolley Tours had been part of Boston's tourism landscape since 1996.
There is a parking garage a block away
They're convertible. The isinglass sides can roll right down in case there's a change in the weather. The vehicles are reasonably warm and comfortable.
