East Side YMCA has a friendly staff and outstanding facilities. This is a place that truly believes in offering their guests the best experience possible. We worked with their team in 2015 to create a positive aquatic venue and would highly recommend them to anyone!

I have been going there for a little while now as a disabled combat Veteran. Staff have always been super nice. They were collecting donations to give a Veteran a free years of gym membership. They called me up and gave me that free year. I am super excited about that. Thought it to be a blessing from God. I will take advantage of this. That body pump class is no joke!!!

Despite some negative comments left by either members or non-members about this facility, I still like it. Yes, the facility is small and cramped compared to other branches in the metro Providence area. I am a member of the Bayside Y that has gone through extensive renovations recently. This Y is due for an upgrade, however still provides the basic services and offers great values

this place sucks! absolutely disgraceful that this is the only Y and is the capital city Y.horrible, limited, outdated facilities, very disorganized, class schedules as posted have wrong times.there are many other better gyms in PVD for the same amount of money.my sister who travels all over the country & works out at Ys everywhere was shocked that this was the only Y in PVD and said tiny Podunk towns all over the country have Ys that far surpass this dump!

If you aren't a member, you will need to. It is $10 per day per adult, or $15 per day per family.
You can call them because the schedule varies by season.
The East Side Y no longer has free community swim. They do have open family swim, though, and for $15 per family, you can use the pool. Open family swim time varies depending on the day
No.
Yes, it's a free benefit for members during certain hours. I believe 9-12 and then after 5pm for a few hours too, weekends are mornings only.
Yes they do. Quite nice.
