We visited the Botanical Gardens to round out our trip to the Roger Williams Zoo. The best part of the Botanical Gardens was the greenhouses. There are several green houses with all sorts of beautiful gardens. The fee was $15 for 3 adults and 3 children. There was a wedding rehearsal while we were there which we had to walk around, but this just added to the experience. It was definitely worth the price.

The gardens are lovely. It's really nice to have an affordable place to go in the winter and be surrounded floor to ceiling by plants. The buildings are wheelchair accessible, however there are some narrow passages that may be difficult for oversize chairs. Also the entrance booth is made for people of adult standing height, but the employees have all been helpful in working around this. I did not encounter any barriers with my assistance dog. Note: I have not been in any of the bathrooms to verify accessible toilets.

What a great place to visit! Roger Williams Botanical Center is excellent and today was especially sweet because it was Holly Days presented by Ten31 Productions. The Botanical center has such a wide variety of plants from all over the world. You can see actual bananas growing on a tree, along with limes and other fruit. Ten31are such an amazing repertoire that not only astonishes with their life-like statues, but also bring to life the elements of A Christmas Carol.
