Fantastic! Great staff, awesome selection of books, CDs, records, and movies, and there's a super sweet cafe right near the entrance with the best baked goods, sandwiches and coffee! 10/10, highly recommend! :)

My husband and I were visiting different areas in New Hampshire and found the small town of Peterborough. We are always on the lookout for good bookstores and the Toadstool Bookshop certainly met our expectations! It has a wonderful variety of books, new and used. We spent some time roaming happily through the shelves, and would certainly like to go back if we are in the area. Happy reading!

Our doors are open, however masks are required, we have hand sanitizer at the door and at the check out, plastic screens at the check out, and we ask that people be conscious of safe distancing. We are also offering curbside delivery for those who still feel uncomfortable coming in.

I believe that people usually bring used books in and they appraise then there in the store. Having said that, they might be willing to review an email list but you would need to call them and confirm. They have certain books in which they are interested and others that they aren't but they buy to resell in the store.
