Good train station and a great place to go trainspotting, but just be warned that this place can have some sketchy individuals depending on what time you go here at.

I want to add on that there's also an app, MTicket, that you can buy your ticket through if you're going to be traveling frequently

If you are going via the commuter rail take the train all the way to North Station. From there you can either walk (about 15 minutes or so), take an Uber, or take the Orange line... however I forget which stop on the orange line.
