I can not accurately state how thankful I am to have such amazing programs like VT-CAN available in this area. The woman at check in was so friendly and welcoming at drop off and helped ease my worries. I recently got my fur baby and she had been dealing with some skin issues related to a flea infestation when I first got her and they reached out asking if I would be alright with them helping to start the treatment process, as I was short on funds to spend at a full service veterinarian this was not only a tremendous help to me, but also to my kitty. The price they charge is outstanding, she got rabies and distemper shots, an antibiotic shot for her skin, revolution, pain meds and her spay for only 75$. It is so refreshing to know that we have such wonderful people to take our animals to that are not only more worried about making sure your animals are okay than making money, but people that also know how to comfort a stressing pet parent so effortlessly. I can not recommend VT Companion more. Absolutely amazing.

I brought my cat in two days ago for her spay and vaccines. Not only did the staff do an amazing job with our experience, they answered all of our questions and concerns! For the most important piece, my kitty is recovering beautifully! When I called with any questions, they had an answer for every single one, and gave great advice on cat proofing the room we’re in with her. Overall, I’ll recommend VT-CAN to anyone who has pets!

I got my baby Olive neutered here in late December. Being a first time cat mom, I am INCREDIBLY neurotic. I spent hours online researching the smallest things that could go wrong during the procedure. I watched YouTube videos of spayings and made myself sick with worry about the surgery. I brought Olive in for her appointment and I was inconsolable, shaking with tears and fearing the worst. The woman doing the intake assured me that everything would be fine and that their practice had performed over 40,000 spay and neuters. I was still visibly worried when I handed her over, and the woman said she would call me as soon as Olive was ready to be picked up. I went to work an anxious mess, constantly checking my phone to see if there was an update. At around 10:30 I got a voicemail from the woman. She let me know that surgery went perfectly and Olive was doing well, and mentioned she was only calling because she say how worried I was during the drop off. It completely put me at ease and made the process 1000% easier to handle. I am so incredibly grateful for the VT-CAN program for not only providing low cost procedures to people in need, but providing quality care and compassion as well. Thank you so much!

These folks are absolutely amazing! Not only are their prices very reasonable, but they go above and beyond every time. We run a shelter and often have kitties come in as strays in need of shots and spay/neutering - we've taken these cats here from the start and have never had an issue! They are very good about answering questions and getting things done! This most recent experience, however, takes the cake! We brought in a stray named Ace who needed to be neutered and get a chip. He was severely matted so we asked if they would be able to give him a lion cut while he was under sedation. They were very willing to help and we went about his appointment as normal. What we loved was that, when we picked him up, not only was he properly shaved and de-matted, but they had even given him a little sweater to keep him warm on a cold day! This shows me just how much they care about what they do and the animals they take into their care. I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you so much!

I had a male cat neutered, it's $75.00.

how much does it cost for people who cannot afford to spay their animals!

jesse lefebvre | Sep 6, 2019
Roxane Boliver | Sep 6, 2019

I paid $95.00 and that was neutering, rabies, distemper, testing for feline leukemia and deforming, MUCH cheaper than vet. Plus it's only $25.00 if you want microchipping so they are very reasonable.

Do you provide any worming medicine. I think our cat may have lungworm.
