This is a beautiful park along the waterfront. Nice view of boats and the city in the distance. Very easy access off I-195. There are some paved walking trails here and you can often see people fishing nearby. Access to the East Bay bike path in one direction and on-road biking thru Providence's East Side towards the Blackstone River bike path. This is a nice little park and a must-see if you're new to Rhode Island.

Beautiful, well-cleaned park. Great spot for picnics and family strolls. Plenty of nature and space to roam. People tend to bike on a track called 'The East Bay Bike Path' that begins there. Children's playground with interesting play structures. Calming waters alongside the park. Views of Providence from India Point Bridge, a stretching bridge that crosses the highway. Loud and noisy over there from all the cars zooming under you. Nice location right outside downtown Providence!

Beautiful park with great walking paths. Lots of open grassy areas and benches to sit down and enjoy the view too.

Beautiful park, wonderful space, multi uses. There are quiet spots under trees with benches, relaxing spots where you can put a blanket down and have a little picnic and watch the boats and birds on the water. There are picnic tables and also a really nice playground for younger and older children (not so much for babies/toddlers). Great pathways for jogging and skating and kids biking. Perfect for leisurely strolls. Also, there is parking.

I don't know if I'd take my family fishing on the bridge. You might get surprises you don't want your family to see.

I see no reason y not no posted signs
I've never seen anyone have a BBQ there, but I would contact the city of Providence and ask. However, I know they do at Slater Park in Pawtucket. That's also a nice park with things to do for the kids... pkayground, pond to walk around, large open spaces and they used to have a petting zoo. I'm not sure if that is still there. Good luck!
