I worked next door in the smaller facility and then we had to transfer over to this larger facility. I loved the residents although, I think they're paying way too much for the services they receive. The higher ups treat their staff poorly. They consider them " a dime a dozen" even though the CNA'S have the toughest job. The CNA'S spend the most time with the Residents. They assist them with almost everything depending on their needs. Some residents are "assist'" and some are "direct care" However, the CNA'S are overlooked, unappreciated, overworked and underpaid. They have a HEAVY workload and they have to be done with all that work by a certain time frame. The nurses and management don't value them. They are quick to make them feel replaceable even though they (Nurses and management ) themselves wouldn't change places with the CNA'S for anything. And god forbid we become sick, we have to find our own coverage. We have to call each and every staff and hope they come in for you. You can be sick as a dog.. they don't care! The best thing I did was leave, no regrets. I do not recommend this facility and any other Home of the Good Shepherd. They're all one in the same.

Absolutely spectacular care! Their enhanced assisted living services are top notch, and illustrate how some other local facilities who claim to provide enhanced assisted living services, really come up short. I can't recommend them highly enough.
