Echoing what another reviewer said. Extra Space are just scam artists. After only two months of renting here they’ve sent me a notice that the rate is DOUBLING in price and lying that the rate I signed off on the contract was a “promotional” rate. I went over all this when I moved in and asked specifically if the price was legitimate and I wasn’t going to see it spike out of nowhere and signed a contract to that affect. Since reaching out to them to investigate this price gouge they have refused to answer my emails, or pick up the phone. It’s a grift and they know it. And to the owner’s response, there are no increased costs in running a storage space. YOU DON’T DO ANYTHING. They don’t even clean the facilities. It’s just a big series of rooms and hallways and the literal only thing they have to do is provide electricity to the building. Electricity costs haven’t doubled. They saw a historic spike in inflation, people struggling financially, and decided to join in on the price gouging and theft with both hands. It’s dishonesty meets incompetence and no one should ever rent here.

I reserved the unit online and about an hour later arrived at the facility where I was able to find my unit with my rental info and lock I purchased inside ready to use. I appreciate their quickness and the fact that it went smooth and contactless. Very clean, warm and obviously well managed facility. Feel safe leaving my items there. They raised my rent by almost double without any warning. I reviewed my paperwork and I didn’t have a promotional rate to start with and no notification until after they charged my card. Not happy about this.

My husband and I moved to Boston a couple of months ago and needed a place to store our boxes until we got the keys of our apartment. The managers Raynel and Luis not only found the best rate for us but gave us the best service possible. We really appreciated their kindness, willingness to help and flexibility. The facility was very clean and easy to access. Highly recommend this place.
