Fantastic staff in the retail and class settings, so helpful and friendly. The store is a fiber artist's mecca filled with all sorts of top-quality thread, yarn, and fleece as well as accessories, books, patterns, tools, kits, and of course, looms - from lap looms to large floor looms. The beginner weaving class is fantastic - we were weaving on the first day after learning how to set our looms up with our yarns.

Beautiful buildings. Comfortable indoor setting. Yarn is to "dye" for. Nice people.

I ordered potholder loops from Harrisville. They are very nice quality and color. A revival of a childhood craft!

Top notch business! They let me know right away that one of the yarn colors I wanted was out of stock. This is my first time trying this brand and I have to say this yarn is just beautiful. The slightly heathered colors are radiant and blend well together. I’m using the highland for tapestry weaving and it lays wonderfully. I’m hooked and will be trying all the 64 colors eventually. Looking forward to learning all about this yarn in my weaving. Thanks HD for a great product and wonderful customer service.

You can sign up for Mill Tours in the summer and fall, but not spring or winter. There are lots of nice places to walk around Harrisville, and sometimes there are art studios open for touring.

Yes, they carry both sizes of loops!

Hi. I am brand new to weaving. I purchased a used HD Model T 36" 4-shaft loom with four treadles. Is this a direct-tie-up loom? If so, can I press multiple treadles at the same time to simultaneously lift the corresponding shafts for weaving?

This is a direct tie up. You can definitely press mutiple treadles simultaneously!

Do you buy alpaca fiber? I have several bags I’d fiber.

No I don't.

I bought my wife a potholder loom. Where can I find a metal loop lacing tool? I live in Fort Worth, TX. People don't know what I'm talking about!!! Very Frustrating.

Dont know if you got an answer but if you dont have metal "thingie" you can sustitute a tunisian crochet book for ease of use. Buy one wider than the loom. This will also work to finish the sides. They are available easily at michaels, hobby lobby and ac moore as well as many yarn shops and online
