I love shopping at Mr. G's, especially the Walpole store which is bigger than the Keene Store. Workers are positive and polite and there are truly many deals here. Why the 1-star? Covid-19 is a joke to many but a potential horrid death sentence for some. Staff wearing a tiny eye-shield, upside down, making believe that it's a mask is ludicrous at best and deadly at worst. Check-out staff are at extremely high risk, some don't care, but even without symptoms infected staff infect others. That's just wrong. Note: If/when I see this remedied I'll update it. For now, if you're elderly, or have other Covid-19 risk factors, I'd say: "keep away" till Covid is tamed.

Will they have what you need every time? probably not, but they may have what you can’t live without. This is my favorite place to impulse shop. The inventory changes constantly so don’t think you can go one in a while and know what they sell. The prices are amazing. Often they have top quality items mixed in with bargin basement merchandise. Happy picking

Quality items at bargain prices. Gloria Vanderbilt jeans only $8, all clothes (men, women's & children) are half price. The G.V. jeans were priced $15.99 and would still be a good buy at that price. Bed pillows that are higher end and are wonderfully priced. I have 6! Food is not a great saver except in chocolates. Motto:out of date, still tastes great! Kids stuff, health & beauty. A bit of everything.
