Before I met with Shirley my life was a mess my mental and physical health were not good and I had no hope for the future. One of the purposes of the first session is for our counselors to determine if we can help you. If we are not a good fit, we are happy to say so because we don’t want you expending time and resources on a potentially poor outcome. If we feel comfortable that we can help, we will propose a next step / ministry plan for your agreement. We use a free web-conferencing application called GoToMeeting. It works on laptops, desktops, phones and tablets. You will need a webcam (or camera and microphone) and high speed connection. A headset/earbuds is highly recommended. We do not do phone counseling because the “face to face” contact is very important for our type of ministry. We do not use Skype, Facetime or Zoom.
All of the counselors have Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral level degrees in Clinical Christian Counseling and are licensed by the National Christian Counselors Association. The counselors are not licensed by the state of Florida.
