Proceed with caution. I went in to get fitted for two wedges late August and spent $700. The wedges ultimately got specced out the same as my previous wedges. 0.75" longer shaft, and 2 degrees bent upright. The fitting experience was great and as expected. Six weeks later the clubs arrived, I took them out for a few rounds, and I couldn't hit them for the life of me. Chalked it up to not playing much and it being the end of the season up here in Massachusetts. Figured I'd sort it out next season. A constant push off to the right, $400 in lessons, and _so many frustrating rounds_ later my instructor recommended that we measure the lie angle and bend them even more upright. That's when we learned they were never set up correctly in the first place. Lie angle was standard (should have been 2 degrees upright), and the length was 1" longer than standard (should have been 0.75" longer). I called Club Champion customer service, asked for my money back as agreed upon services weren't rendered, and was ultimately told "mistakes happen" and that they would be able to adjust the clubs, but that's the best they could do. The customer service rep. kept saying "I don't know what you want me to tell you, but I'm happy to keep going around in circles for another 15 minutes if that's what you want to do." Maybe I should have "known" what the issue was and checked the club specs earlier, but the reality is I shouldn't have to double check a custom club fitting companies work. I mean, I don't even have the equipment. I trusted that club champion did their job in getting the club build right. It's how they stay in business. Unfortunately their quality control failed, and I ended up spending hours of my own time and hundreds of dollars of my own money trying to address the issue. Mistakes happen, but please own up to them instead of telling your customers to ultimately kick rocks. Hopefully this review is enough to give folks a heads up that: - You're going to spend more money going to Club Champion vs. going elsewhere. - If things go well, you'll probably be satisfied, although you spent ~50-100% more than if you just ordered the same specs from the manufacturers website. - If things go poorly, you'll be frustrated, working with a company isn't willing to accept fault, making things right, and land a bit SOL. Save your money and go elsewhere. Chris Cote's down in CT is great.

I went back for my driver/wood and hybrid fitting. As I mentioned in a previous review, it's pretty grueling. You'll be taking around 500 swings if you're doing a full bag fitting so be well rested. I was beat after about 250, so we broke my full bag fitting into two sessions. And the driver/woods/hybrid fitting was just was excellent as the iron fitting. You'll be taking lots of swings using different heads and shafts. But that's how you find the one that works best. And my irons from the first fitting were ready in 2 weeks, which is no small thing these days. I was also guided by my fitter who knew what they had in stock and what might have to be ordered and would take more time. Anyway, my only problem with this whole thing is I can't wait to start swinging my new clubs. And that's not really a problem at all. The only downside, really, is that it all ends up costing some money. Where a club off the rack might be $120 complete, just the head will cost you that much if that's what you choose. Then throw in the cost of the shaft, grip, and construction, and you've got a costly club. A costly club that's perfect for you. (For instance, I had no idea I needed a midsize grip. I can barely palm a softball.) You need to decide if that is worth the extra money.

Got fitted for a driver, 3 wood, and hybrid. Nick Fulone did an awesome job. He was knowledgeable of all clubs, shafts, grips, and was able to put together a perfect fit.

(Highly Recommend!) An absolutely delightful experience. I couldn't be more impressed with the range of options available and the professionalism of Andie and staff. I completed a full bag fitting and it was great to see the difference in performance between my current setup and all the combinations Club Champion can provide. Looking forward to using these in 2022.

Might be a little low if you're looking for the best performance (which usually entails a shaft with better materials than stock) but you can always discuss your budget with your fitter at the start of the session!
Club Champion does not sell used clubs; we only offer the latest models available from over 60 golf brands. We work with 2nd Swing for trade-ins, and that process is handled online through our website; we do not take trade-ins in stores.
If you are looking to improve your golf game, yes! A Club Champion club fitting is designed to help you meet your golf goals — whether it's more distance, better accuracy, fewer putts, etc. Our goal in every fitting is to find the best combination of components to help you lower your scores and play your best golf. If we are unable to find a combo that beats what you already have in the bag, we won't recommend any new purchases — the point is to play with the clubs that work the best for you. In particular, higher handicappers see the most improvement, though our fittings benefit every level of golfer.
Our club fittings are the most in-depth in the industry, with technology like TrackMan and SAM PuttLab at our disposal. You'll work with a Master Fitter to dial in your shaft and clubhead from over 50K hittable combinations -- this is done by setting a baseline with your gamer and using the club technology available today to find a combination that outperforms that baseline and meets your goals. Once we find the perfect fit for your unique swing using data like smash factor, carry, and more, we'll walk you through the recommended clubs, prices, and options available to order a hand-built set to match what you hit in our fitting bays. We do the same with putter fittings, using SAM PuttLab technology to find the best option for your short game.
