Five Star I went in to finish a book I had checked out from the Mount Dora Library. In The Company Of Heroes by Michael Durant. So many nice libraries in Central Florida

As a previous reviewer stated, it's a really great library for serenity. I'd say it's an old fashioned library with updated faculty. By this, I mean they expect you to be quiet. There is nothing more disrespectful than seeing a group of kids (or immature adults) being loud and obnoxious in a public place where people go for peace and quiet.

Unbelievable that the library is only open during banker's hours. Impossible for someone who works to get there when they're open, and they're closed on weekends. This library caters only to retired people. Not only are the hours extremely inconvenient for people who work and for parents, the whole environment discourages young people from using the library. 18+ only on the computers. Some of the staff is friendly but there are a few who need to retire as they are very rude. I witnessed one staff member yelling at an old lady who was having trouble using the computer. Isn't it your job to assist patrons? Libraries are supposed to be a safe, welcoming place for all ages in the community. The upgraded building is very nice but they haven't made it any more welcoming.

I don't think they normally offer classes but that's a great idea!
The bookstore is open Monday thru Friday from 11:00-3:00. As of 5/05/2021

You may search the online library catalog for"ebook" along with whatever title, subject, author, etc.in which you have interest. The Library also uses the app called Overboard which you may well want to use at for even more titles. The e-books may be downloaded to your Kindle. Certainly ask at the library if you have issues or questions.
The library website does not indicate it uses Kanopy. However it does use Overdrive Streaming Video. So you may want to look into that service. I certainly encourage you to check with a librarian if you have further questions or issues.

I looked at the online library catalog and it does appear that the library system does own all seasons of the series Damages.
They have roughly around 15 computers you can access
