Most tracks have a mini digger track or class of its own .. moto jargon for kiddie bikes or a special course cut specifically for them this may or may not include small portions of the big track.. it just depends on the facility. Usually places don’t have age restrictions as moto is a family sport and most owners understand this openly you’ll likely have to sign a waiver upon entry that you won’t sue if the child gets hurt basically saying I understand there’s risk in this sport as there is in any and any consequences are my own etc.. after that your usually directed by a riders meeting where they’ll explain that like where the kids track is located if not a flagger or track person can easily direct you. I’m sure they get asked a lot this question they’ll know where to send you most ppl there will infact.. or just swing by another’s rig and ask most ppl on amateur moto are very personable ppl and it’s a family sport. They’ll direct you don’t worry 🇺🇸
Are not good most likely. As the people whom enter those classes have been racing for years are highly experienced and have far better tuned and high quality equipment. I’d recommend entering in the C class if they have such or novice. If you do well there bump up to the B class or intermediate and so forth but make sure you gain the proper experience first that’s very important. As for riding I’d recommend starting by practicing there first get to know the track the bumps the lay out etc this is a huge advantage. Then after you are comfy and making smooth fast laps then try a race. Don’t forget to practice starts. They are extremely important just as much as staying on two wheels and riding smooth/fast.
125cc to 450. You could ride a 100 or 80 cc bike anywhere you can a big bike. You just may not be able to clear all the obstacles on some tracks depending on your skill level. If you had exceptional skill level it wouldn’t matter at all generally. But now days 250f to 450f is most common though a good running 2 stroke can all easily be competitive and far less maint than the newer 4 strokes.. the only problem is if you’re trying to run official races aka ama sanctioned they require 4stroke bikes anymore 250f/450f it used to be you could still run a 125cc in the 250f class and a 250cc in the 450f class but lately I think they finally tweaked this where you have to upgrade. At least that’s what I’ve heard how true idk I haven’t raced ama since 2009
