Paying $100/mo for “internet service” over DSL lines operating at .1 mps. Have been a customer for over 50 years, but WT doesn’t seem to care. A lot of sweet talk and a lot of nothing. Wish we had an alternative. Answer: Your reply sounds disingenous. You said the same thing the last time we called to complain, and since then the MPs have deteriorated to a “high”of 2 mps to a low of .1 MPs. There is just too much traffic over the few DSL lines to the point where we have no service (except at 3 a.m. when we can finally access the internet). But WT keeps on adding accounts and taking money. We have never once raised our voice to anyone in the valley in the past 50 years, but now we feel we are being cheated. This conversation will continue to be public until WT addresses this issue honestly - not push it off into “the future”, like next spring. 24 hours later: Richard, in WT’s service dept., fixed our internet so that it runs at the promised 12-14 MPs (obviously still over DSL). He put in a new modem, replaced our extenders with a different brand. Supposedly, part of the problem was not using a “line filter” on our phone (which now with the new fix is no longer needed). Thank you. This conversation is finished, although we do look forward to getting a fiber optic connection at some point in the future.

I’ve had issues with my Wi-Fi for years with no resolve. It literally just drops you. Drops your calls, anything you want to stream……just drops. I work from home and sometimes when I’m doing things for my business it just stops and say no connection. Chatted with customer service many times apparently we have awesome Wi-Fi and it can’t get any better so there’s that. We certainly pay for the best Wi-Fi but I’m not seeing that result. Sometimes it’s actually so unworkable and I go somewhere where I have cell data to work on instead.

Whenever I have had an issue with my internet they are always prompt and courteous. They are very patient and kind. I at one point had to reset my T.V. what a great guy he was so patient and led me step by step.

I’ve had really positive experiences with this company. Their internet service has been great - fantastic speeds at competitive prices. But what really makes them great is their customer service. When you call them you get local people who have been with the company for years and who are very pleasant and know the products and how to solve your issues. Recently I needed help wiring my home for wired internet and I was helped by an extremely nice and knowledgeable person who quickly figured out what I needed and arranged the service. He came to my home with an equally pleasant and knowledgeable technician and they were great - work got done quickly and expertly - problem solved. Thanks very much for the great service!
