We had allot of fun here and the food was so flavorful and delicious!!! I also had the grapefruit beer...which is now my favorite beer! So good and refreshing. Can't wait to go back! I'm almost drooling thinking about the food. Clean place and our waitress was very attentive and nice. Highly recommend. We sat on the rooftop deck.

This place is amazing! Hubby and I came with our girls for lunch after the zoo. Phil is great and knowledgeable of the menu. Everything was delicious. The place is super authentic- even the music. Definitely recommending and coming again!

I’ve been to Hollerbach’s many times, so I’m going to base my review on my typical experience. The atmosphere is fun, the food is great. This is the best selection of German food and drink that I’ve found in several states. Their selection of sausages is the best. We love Nurembergers and they have them. They’re not as good as the ones we had in Nuremberg, but the best we’ve had in the U.S. The schnitzel is also very good as are the sides. The red cabbage and mashed potatoes are my favorites. The beer selection is also great. Tonight they made a couple of mistakes, but that’s the exception.

Just fantastic all the way around. The atmosphere is fantastic, wait staff top notch and the food is Killer. Yeah it gets super busy and definitely not a fast food place but The wait times not bad for a sit down restaurant. Upstairs is amazing with a gorgeous view of historic downtown Sanford. Couldn’t recommend the place more, such a fun family vibe…. But they won’t let you order the boot of beer if you’re not with a group which I understand.

Menu is the same for lunch and dinner. They do make sandwiches in the German store they have behind.
Large outdoor seating area. All employees are wearing masks. Guests must wear masks to enter the restaurant and when they get up from their tables.
We have been running it as a special on the 3rd Wednesday of the month
During winter reservations are strongly recommended for dinner
That might be a tough one as most cities in Florida do not allow overnight parking. No Walmart's or Cracker Barrels or vacant lots. You might call the Sanford Chamber of Commerce and ask them. Sorry doesn't look good for you.

It's a German restaurant, not Chinese.I suspect few if any items contain soy based ingredients.
Meals are large. Also consider just an extra plate if they will eat what you have.
Call ahead to make sure there's music there but if Jerry Wayne Eubanks is is there he is really good and you'll enjoy him
I'm just a customer, but I know you can get ANYTHING to go there. Everything is of the highest quality and freshly made. When I visit downtown Sanford about every 2 weeks I treat myself there for lunch, and I often order extra for take out.
The food is prepared in the restaurant kitchen, not in the field.
I'm assuming by "this year" you mean 2018 - Google does not show the dates of when questions were posted, which makes no sense at all...anyway, Hollerbach's Downtown Sanford Oktoberfest will be Oktober 12-14, 2018 - all three days will involve an outdoor German street party in addition to the normal restaurant operations.
The only brand of wafer treat we're carrying at our German Deli (Magnolia Square Market) is Manner from Austria - but no Knoppers, I'm sorry.
