The pharmacy here is full service with very competitive prices and helpful staff. Not as busy as some of the other pharmacies on the mainland but very convenient to the island. Much more personal service than I have ever received at other area pharmacies. As for the supermarket, probability best Publix in Sarasota. Great selection of fruit and vegetables, meat selection good and pretty good seafood although much has been previously frozen and not from the USA. Friendly and helpful staff. Check out lines not too long. Great deli.

Walk-In Care is a telemedicine service available at select Publix Pharmacy locations that connects customers with a licensed healthcare professional in real time. Publix partners with hospitals around the Southeast to provide Walk-In Care, a third-party service. Walk-In Care offers treatment for non-emergency medical issues such as allergies, sinus infections, earaches, bug bites, colds, and more. Available for patients ages two and older. The Moderna vaccine and the Johnson & Johnson vaccine are available to eligible individuals ages 18+ at Publix Pharmacy locations. The Pfizer vaccine is available to eligible individuals ages 12+ at all in-store Florida Publix Pharmacy locations and select Publix pharmacies in Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee, while supplies last. The pediatric Pfizer vaccine is available to eligible individuals ages 5–11 at select Publix pharmacies, while supplies last. Publix has a limited supply of the pediatric Pfizer vaccine.
