What makes this church great is the people. I've been in a lot of churches in my life...some are nothing more than a pretty building. This church is different...they are like a family, but not a dysfunctional family, they care, true caring, the kind that visits you when your sick, the kind that doesn't compromise the Word of God to simply fill up the church. If you want a motivational talk, turn on Joel, but if you want to hear an uncompromised message from God's Word come to Missouri Avenue Baptist Church!

Love this church. Been going here for 4 years now. The messages are practical and challenging/encouraging. Pastor Polar preaches right from the Bible, which is refreshing. Highly recommend.
