I went to ER AT 5 am. By 11am they turned me over to admitting. Thats were the trouble started. I could not get any medical attention from 11 am till 8 pm when we had to go home and get my medicine that they skipped for two doses , I did not want to stoke out because they in the ER could touch me since I belonged to admitting. I asked for a Tylenol and was told I belong to admitting and they could not treat me. They call the attending Dr and she would not return the calls. The worse care ever. They where overloaded and sent two nurses home? The entire wing was closed yet there were about 75 people waiting to get in the Er. I had no monitors hooked up to me from 11 am on. My fever was coming and going. I could go on and on about the lack if care. My blood pressure was very high as I checked when I got home. And my diagnosis was a guess, “ an organ might be infected”. I highly recommend not using this facility.

Just Completely Awful I Literally Have Full Blown Omicron Covid-19 And Was Refused A Rapid Test And Regular Help And Direction From Staff The Lady With The Blonde Hair At The Front Desk Asked If I Has Any Symptons And I Said Yes Very Bad Symptoms And She STILL Refused My Treatment At The Hospital And Redirected Me To Other Testing Facilities That We’re Not Even Open At The Time Of My Arrival To The ER They Were very quick to be rude and dismiss me Maybe Because The Amount Of People That Was There Regardless It Definitely Wasn’t A Hospital That Made Me Feel They Wanted To Help! I still have covid and have a Newborn at the house Thanks Manatee Memorial

What could’ve been a beautiful childbirth turned into the most traumatic experience ive had solely because of MMH staff. Trained nurses in the delivery room should be prepared to deliver a child if necessary. Misty, RN let my baby sit in the birth canal for over 5 minutes because she wasn’t confident in her ability to deliver my baby. My doctor wasnt contacted until i was fully dilated (if you cant deliver a baby why would you wait to call the doctor?) by the time my OB got there my contractions were fading and it resulted in severe perineal tearing. I received no aftercare instructions for this other than discharge papers and an ibuprofen prescription. I could write a dissertation on why you should never go to MMH for your delivery.

My father was taken from the skyway to the ER after he passed out and was unconscious. He is 73 years old and when the rescue squad came the couldn’t find pulse in his arm they hooked up the EKG and said it looks off an he should go to the ER. They couldn’t say if he was having a heart attack or not. Upon arrival to the hospital they did no further testing and put my dad in the waiting room where walk ins come. Waited and waited and still sitting with no one that has attended to my father. It would be different if the EKG was rechecked but nothing was done upon arrival. Unacceptable worst hospital I have ever been to.

While patients can go to any floor after a surgery, generally they would go to the fourth floor. Make sure to check in with security and get a visitors tag and the front desk can tell you exactly which room your mother is in.
No
Manatee takes all patients. No matter what you need to be seen for. The only thing hospitals can't help with is dental issues.
Normally about 30 minutes in the waiting room. HOURS in the back.
It is better to take it to a pediatrician's clinic or to a Children's hospital like all children
I'm not sure but if you call their billing office they should be able to give you a estimated or average cost.
MMH's parent company is UHS. There are UHS facilities in Massachusetts near Boston.
If you are asking about the H2U Classes, I'm pretty sure they have some , but they are not at the hospital. You would need to go get a schedule from an H2U center near you. They are all different. Dont forget GT Bray also has classes available
I think so
Yes, I believe so. Call the main phone number for the hospital and they can give you more information.
I don't think so, but last time i was in the hospital, they cut me a deal if i paid what I owed them, while I was on my death bed.
No
That's something that you would have to ask the family. HIPAA regulations would not allow the hospital to answer any questions.
Not allowed to give out that type of information
it is the new building.
I believe still a D, but Blake is also a D. Blake almost killed me. Manatee Memorial didn't. I would go back there if I had to
It's the county hospital, so id say yes. Double check before going in there though
There is a few motels on 14th st. They are not next to the hospital but would be cheaper than Marriott. You could also check out Airbnb. Maybe someone has a place close to Manatee Memorial you could rent. You have to have a credit card and pass a background check to rent from Airbnb. I would choose that option if you have a credit card. It is easy to use.
There are several. Check the hospital web pages for a listing of affiliated doctors
That would be a question for your doctor.
Im sorry, ive never heard of that. I think you should try to Google it. I would have it done there before i would let Blake do it.
I would have to agree with the other 2 reviews but since this is 2 different things (im guessing) alcohol and some kind of drug, the detox process is different for both. They wouldn't cut you off cold turkey. That would be dangerous. I'm guessing whoever needs to do this would check in at the hospital and when a bed opens, they would be transferred to Cornerstone. Ive seen this with my father many times before the one that took his life at 55. Please don't mess around and you or whomever it is, check into the hospital and like i said i would guess the person will be transferred to cornerstone for the correct detox. Good Luck
Most hospitals take all insurance. If you live here, you would be in network
An er is not a detox facility. Hospitals don’t do detox. Call a detox hotline.
For my husband. 175 pounds. Hernia repair
I believe around 7 or 8
No
Depends on the doctor and medicine
Hospitals have social workers in them
