Amazing in every way! Have been buying their fresh eggs, a variety of meats and wonderful handmade soaps for a few months now. Every item has been exceptional. Their chicken is noticeably more tender - my husband actually noticed and commented after enjoying a meal of Chicken Milanese. I've been a customer of Grove Ladder since they started with pickup in their driveway. The best eggs, chickens and beef in Sarasota. And such nice folks. We forgot to pickup our eggs a few weeks ago and Tim dropped them off at our house. What service! A fantastic local asset for those who want to eat local and buy local.

Getting the products aside, we mostly buy eggs from Tim. I try to have a moral obligation to sourcing food, so I synergize with Tim's farm setup. The eggs are great, never once delivering off-time. The awesome part is that Tim and his family are extremely kind and a pleasure to be around. Where he drops off his goods is 1 block from our home so it beats hopping into the car and running to the grocery store. But in the end, interfacing with Tim is bringing back, to me, what is/was great about having farmers and producers like him: just having a friendly interaction with someone who cares and is invested in food you want to eat. Anyway, been a pleasure buying from him and will continue to do so.

Visited family in the Sarasota area, saw the Grove Ladder Farm truck in the Whole Foods parking lot, and checked them out online. Next time I was in town I ordered chicken, pork and duck eggs to stock my mom's freezer. Everything was so yummy nothing made it into the freezer! Duck eggs are awesome, huge rich yolk, twice the size of chicken eggs. The ground pork was terrific, we made stuffed peppers, and they were the best ever. The chicken was also fantastic, 4 huge thighs went into a crockpot and made the most incredibly delicious chicken soup, just fell off the bone and had wonderful flavor. This place rocks!
