These ppl are the best, whether responding to a fire or promoting the red Cross at a fair, they deserve all the support a community can offer.

Can I donate good clothing at the West Palm Beach Northpoint Pkwy Red Cross location for the Michael Hurricane victims?

Barbara Kogod | Sep 6, 2019
Carrie cooney | Sep 6, 2019

Barbara, clothing is always a help but the Red Cross does not accept them for disaster relief. Monetary donations are always best. This way they can give the clients exactly what is needed and can use the local resources in the impacted areas to help rebuild those communities.

Some parts are within the flood zone. If you don't feel safe in your home, or you are afraid of severe flooding in your area, there is still time, until Friday at 3pm, to travel to a nearby hurricane shelter where you will be safe. Be sure to bring bedding supplies, medicines, personal papers, etc.

I cant log in to my dat or even volunteer app and needed to know if was going to get deployed before irma or after

Hi....I live in WPB...I would like to know if you are accepting donations of clothing for families because of the hurricane. Thank you!

Thank you for your thoughtfulness. Red Cross as a matter of policy would prefer that you direct your donations of clothing, bedding, etc. to the Salvation Army, one of our national partnerships.
