One of my favorite places to hang out with my kids!

Very good hiking and biking trails. Highly recommend.

A slice of heaven just outside of the busyness of Orlando! Great trails. Beautiful & serene river. Not too many people. Saw many birds, including a bald eagle! Highly recommended!

I adore this place ; it never disappoints . Download the trail map prior (please note there are multiple entrances to this state forest; plan accordingly for your desired adventure) , map available online. Plentiful parking, marked blazes . If your the quiet type; wildlife will be yours to see . Walk, bike or kayak; you can’t beat that . If you plan on a summer trip, be mindful of the heat (I recommend spring & fall). Its a forest. Bears alligators and snakes oh my. Who would have ever thought???
For a traditional camp site the are around $18, but prices change depending on the site and season. https://floridastateforests.reserveamerica.com
Yes. There is a small fee at the parking lots. It is self serve. But they do drive through to make sure everyone has paid. Cash only so bring some 1's to leave the exact amount.
Yes you can. You can hike the trails 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We often head out to this area for night hikes!!
The grill will depend on weather or not a burn ban is in place. I believe brews aren't allowed but I bring them all the time. I've never had a issue if you act right and don't leave trash I dont see anyone messing with you. Have fun!
Never seen any tbh. I've been looking for places myself.
It's 100% free!
Unfortunately, I am unable to answer this question.
As far as i know ive never paid a price to go to the econ. The website says 2 dollars per person for Barr Street, Snow Hill Equestrian, and Jones East trailheads.
I wouldn't have a problem camping out there.
No
No not that I've seen , but there is a skate park near in Oviedo if that helps ?👍
One of my favorites is from the entrance of Little big econ to Geneva Wilderness Area, at an adjacent property managed by Seminole county. Itself being a nice stroll with wide trails and a smaller pathway as well. There is also the old rail line which includes a bridge over the little big econ. Enjoy. https://youtu.be/kTuDaaqH9Lg
There are no rental companies that operate at or near the trailheads, that I am aware of.
I saw a family camping, last time I was there, I believe you would need a permit first but yes.
No.
Cost? What do you mean? There's no admission fee to use the park.
Not far! 1st one, about 1/2 mile.
I agree with Carl right down the line 🙂
There is only primitive camping by permit allowed. Call 407-971-3500 for more information and to obtain a permit.
30 t will work just fine that's what i have and use at little big econ
There is no jump line like at Santos or other parks, but there are some smaller jumps and drop offs. The ditch of doom trail probably has the most elevation change with Outback and River trails next.
