What a joke. They can’t give referrals because they don’t know where to refer you to and this is a Women’s Resource Center???

Yes, WRC has services for those getting out of prison. Come in and talk to one of our counselors to get started.
WRC empowers women and men to achieve their goals in financial independence, domestic violence survivor support, mental health counseling, personal growth workshops and classes, and help for homeless and imminently homeless individuals and families.

I know they can help you leave an abusive situation, and they are part of a system which can find housing, with certain restrictions. Call them or drop by the office, right behind the post office in winter haven.
If they have the funds yes, and if not they have numbers for other resources.
WRC welcomes individuals doing community service hours; however, we interview all volunteers and accept only those individuals we believe are a good fit with WRC's Mission. Interested volunteers must contact us, complete an application, then meet with an administrator who will determine if we have a volunteer slot available.
No, WRC is not a pregnancy center.
Give them a call first to make an appointment. They will tell you what to bring, if anything.
Not a shelter and if you go there make it one of the stops not the only one
