Very shady place. Parking lot was mostly blocked off, parked directly in front to get a room. Had to press a button on a phone to alert the clerk, then he told us we couldn't park out front and we needed to move before he even took my info. So we go around back and the clerk came out and said I need you to get a room no free parking. I tried and you wouldn't even let us get a room before you made us move!! I was NOT comfortable sending my husband to park in the back and going inside by myself.. Also way too many people lingering outside.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Room did not appear totally cleaned. No glasses nor coffee cups. Phone cord kept falling out of the phone. Shower not cleaned. Floor needed actually to be shampooed. Room smelled of cigarette smoke in a non smoking room. I checked out an After check in

Positive: It was convenient to restaurants and the heart of Indiana. Negative: Bed was comfy but a little high off the floor. Room also had a weird smell when entering. Don't know if it's the cleaning chemicals that they used or what. I used air freshener to get rid of the smell.

Manager is unprofessional and irresponsible. Just had an interview here. Job description said. “ Responsibilities include checking guests in and out, answering phone calls, making reservations, keeping front desk area clean.” During the interview, I was told it also included housekeeping and laundry duties. He then questioned my disability, took a call in the middle of the interview and made me wait. I was then offered $9 an hour. No wonder why they can’t hire anyone and when they do people just don’t show up. Alexis at the front desk was so nice and helpful with any questions I had. I also got a look into how they do things. Breakfast is brought to you by sams club! They got honey buns, stale cereal, and drinks. The same people who own this place also own the holiday inn express. Apparently, they lost housekeepers, so the ONLY housekeeper at days inn was over there. Leaving poor Alexis at the front desk to do everything. The whole place smelled like cigarette smoke. The owner also likes to keep his car parked right in front of the door, blocking half of the parking lot.
