I have been taking my dog here for several years. Lately, I’ve experienced very poor customer service from the reception staff. I had to reschedule an appointment because they were running very far behind and I had already waited 40 minutes. I rescheduled that appointment to have the same experience. I waited over 40 minutes and there was no estimated time that we’d be seen. Please don’t over book your vets so that people have to wait long periods. I can understand if it happens On occasion, but now it’s been two times in a row.

It is a pretty pricy place to be fair. I only got services done here because during the pandemic they were one of the few taking new patients. As of late however and moreover for the last 6 months, they have been pretty pricy when it comes to taking care of my animals. They’re a reasonable service even though the wait time can be dreadfully long, but they do their jobs. Overall an okay hospital with long wait times and pretty pricy services, but they can get you in with a same day sick visit if you’re a patient there. Edit: My partner knew and wrote down the time (9:45am) as they told him for the next appointment. We also called the day before to make sure and they confirmed the time. We then got there on time and the receptionist to us that we were early and that our appointment was at 10:30am. So we decided to sit and wait because they told us we might get in early. And so we waited, and waited, and then they finally they called us at 11am. Then we also waited another 30 minutes for a test they said would take 10 minutes. We left there at 12pm; it’s a good thing we didn’t have anything planned after that.

My pets are children to me, very very dear to my heart. My dear Teddy Bear cat was in a terrible way, not able to eat and had labored breathing. Although in my heart I knew I would probably not go home with him after going to the vet, I trusted the staff at Long meadow Animal Veterinary to give the most honest, most compassionate and professional prognosis . They are the best one could ever hope for. Sweet Teddy Bear is now at peace asleep, and while my heart aches, I know I did my best, all the way till the end. Thank you so much
