If you want your order just right, or heck even remotely right, I highly recommend not coming to this location. I’ve given them way too many chances, grasping on to the false hope that they might actually bring out my to-go order correctly. Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe some customers love looking through their bags to find not only multiple missing things of food, but also to find some of their food just free floating in the bag. Personally, couldn’t be me. I’d chalk it up to issues in the kitchen, but when this seems to happen every order and the manager on duty sounds as clueless as the person wondering where their whole order is, I’d say it’s probably not the kitchen that’s the issue.

We’ve tried this restaurant multiple times since we moved to Mt Dora and there’s always an issue with our order, today they forgot the tortillas for the fajitas, the chicken looked like hospital chicken and the chips were stale. I don’t know if it’s the Manager or the cook but this facility could use some improvement. I’m going to stop going because I’ve had negative experiences three times in a row. There’s not a lot of options in Mt Dora but we can’t keep wasting our money like this.

We haven't been to chili's in years, so I had high expectations for this trip. Overall, Customer service: excellent. Food? It looked good but unfortunately for the taste I'd give 2 out of 5. 😵 We had the Anchor salmon with rice and broccoli and added black beans. We also ordered chips and salsa. Everything on the food was too salty 😔, you can barely taste any distinctive flavor, just salt. I understand things been well seasoned (I am from the Caribbean) but there's obviously a difference between well seasoned and too salty. The thick portion of the salmon (the center) needed a little bit more time on the heat, in my opinion, because it was a bit slimy, so I left that portion on the plate. I ended up ordering a mini lava cake to get the salty flavor off my mouth. The mini cake had good flavor and texture, but it wasn't really a molten lava cake, it was more like a regular chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and chocolate and caramel sauce on top, but at least I enjoyed this! It might be that today the food wasn't great. I understand what that is since I am professional cook/baker, and I've worked in a kitchen before; so I am not trying to be a difficult customer, just giving my honest opinion because there's always room for improvement in everything we do. Regardless of our experience today, we'd give the place another chance, specially because Tina was super friendly and efficient.
