Beautiful and clean Sprayground. Anything run by the Monmouth county park system is top notch. My kids and I have enjoyed coming here for years.

Yet another wonderful cooking class with Chef Peter--in this class, we made a half dozen different kinds of delicious salmon! Chef is full of hints and helpful suggestions based on his years of culinary experience. An awesome program, well worth the cost! Be ready to register at 8 am the first day it is available, or you you might be closed out! This year, they ran a second evening to accommodate those on the wait list. That class was also filled. Bring a cooking partner and ENJOY!

This park is an impressive place. There are walking trails, tennis courts, ball fields and a great big playground for children. Two of the buildings have kitchens and dining rooms that can be rented for birthdays etc.

Yes they are open but you have to make an advanced reservation on the parks and rec website. $3 per person
Will close early September. open the week of Labor day.
It is handicap accessible. In fact Doorbrook runs a camp and i have seen several children in wheel chairs enjoying tje spray grounds. I will say that the eheel chairs were left outside the gates and the care givers held and sat with the children in the water. Im not sure if that was by choice or if that was at the request of the park though.
There are showers to rinse in but they are not private. There are bathrooms but they are outside of the spray ground area.
It's free for everyone, no age restrictions. It's customary for parents to be right out there with their little children, so a teenager can fit in but it's unusual for kids older than 10 to be out there. Depends on the comfort level of the kid and how badly they want to get wet. Likewise for the playground area - sandbox, swings, slides, etc. all aimed at little kids.
