New to the facility (been 4 times) or I’d go with 5 stars. Maybe to early to review and hold out for a probable 5? Naw, wouldn’t do the place justice and provide the deserved feedback. I’ve utilized an instructor to become knowledgeable and safe with coming back into this type of environment. Don’t hesitate to better yourself for your safety and others. It’s a investment in yourself. Safety was key for me even though I was allowed to shoot at 10 years of age and hunted all my life since then. I meet new folks all the time and constantly learning. Great environment. Definitely a nice range. See review of Shooters World/Orlando either on Google or Yelp. May have saved you time and/or $$$ and unnecessary aggravation. Best gun range in Florida. I drive 2.15 hours both ways to get to Ares but it’s well worth it. The owners are extremely welcoming and accommodate every need. From pistol to long range, beginner to LE/military user, every shooter will find this gun range second to none. Newest addition: Shotmarker system at long range, immediate display on your phone, no more second guessing where your shot went.

Rodrigo, our Brazilian instructor is still in Brazil. We have an instructor that speaks Spanish at the range. We do have a few members at the range that are Brazilian.
Steel cased ammo is allowed. Steel core ammo is not allowed to be shot at our steel targets because it causes damage.
The 25 yard deep pocket berms are not set up for steel. We have hanging steel on all the big berms, 100, 200, 300, and 400 yards on the main range. No plate racks.
Steel cased ammo is fine. We just ask that any steel core bullets not be shot at our steel. It causes damage and ruins the steel. You can shoot them at paper targets. You can bring your own steel targets. You will just need to check with the Range Safety Officer before putting them out.
Yes you can come. We are open 9-5. It’s $20/person for the first hour and $10 for each additional hour. We rent full-auto, but it has to be set up by appointment in advance.
