Allen came out right away to discuss options with our tree. His crew was absolutely professional getting right to work and when done they picked up the yard that you never knew a tree was there. Will recommend them to everyone. On top of everything they were very affordable!

I met Allen on the job and hired him to prune several trees in the back yard. He said he was licensed and insured with an arborist on staff. He was charging me $4300. He completed most of the job the first day then a neighbor called the job into the City of Dunedin. Their arborist came out and said he illegally trimmed the Sandy Oak because he did not get a permit and made cuts that will probably kill the tree. The Oak is estimated to be 150-200 years old. I spoke to him about this and he said he would call Dunedin and straighten things out. He told me he did but if there was a fine he would take care of it. I paid him the full amount of $4300 and 2 weeks later I received a $1100 fine from the City of Dunedin. I have been trying to reach Allen by text and calls for over a month and he has completely ghosted me. I'm writing this review to warn other potential customers. I would not hire this man for anything. He apparently is NOT knowledgeable nor more importantly HE IS NOT A MAN OF HIS WORD.

A++. Showed up on time for estimate with laser pointer. Unlike other tree service folks. Allen knew exactly what needed to be trimmed from our 2 very large live oaks. He was able to come by very next day after estimate. Finished the work. Cleaned up nicely. Then called to check if we're happy. Very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend this service.

Depending on the size of the tree and where it is located at, close to buildings, in a backyard, out front, the price can vary. Allen's Tree Works will always giver you the best price possible.
Anytime your going to do a tree removal in Clearwater the city will want you to have a permit.
When it comes to damage caused by fallen trees, some insurance policies will only cover you for the removal of the tree if it causes damage to the insured home and contents. If there is no damage to the home or contents, then you may be up for your own removal costs
Removing an extremely tall tree over 80 feet tall costs $3,000 to $4,000. If it requires a crane, expect to add $1000 to that. Daily crane rentals cost $400 to $500 plus another $250 to $500 for the operator depending on size and type.
Are they licensed & insured? How long have they been in business? Do the have good reviews on Google? Can they give references? Are the reasonable price? All of these things need to be consider when hiring a tree service company in Clearwater.
