Let me start by saying you'll like a lot of things about this campground - the staff, the location, the bathrooms are clean and a lot of the park amenities. I am not happy about the value, though. I had reserved a couple months in advance a premium, top dollar site that I thought would be as they put on their website with an "uninterrupted view of the water." My site, site 201, is indicated on the park map as being one of those waterfront premium sites, however, I spent my entire stay looking past the back of the heads of my neighbors in sites 202 and 203 who actually were waterfront and paid the same amount as me. See pic of site attached with peek-a-boo view past one of my neighbors head (too bad the boat wouldn't stop until he got out of the way! LOL). In fact, when I pulled in, I asked the nice staff member if I could use the site 202 next to us which was vacant and waterfront and she said it had been reserved (no mention of that on their website and their booking link does not allow site specific reservations - evidently, you have to call the office to make the reservation). I still enjoyed the Tarpons Springs area and I make the best of what I have, but the ownership should change the color (and price) of site 201 on the park map to yellow or some other color than blue. This site was the same price as sites 202-207, but much less value. After I had already set up, I was called and offered some other site in the 300's (which may have had a slightly better view, but by then it would have been a pain to break down and move especially since it was raining (they stated they could tell my disappointment when after showing me my site). While that was thoughtful and appreciated, it could have been done before setting up and mentioned before they left me at the site. So make sure to call the park to make your reservation specific to the site you want - don't use their booking link - and if you're not sure what the site looks like, ask for them to take a few pictures of it and send to you. At $170 a night after tax, you want to know what you're buying.

Great little rv park right on the water. Had a great place to relax and sit overlooking the river. The sunset were amazing and watching the boats come and go relaxing. Things to note the site pads are crushed shells so it can get a bit messy on your rugs and if you get it in your rig. Also there are low power lines in the resort. The staff were wonderful and they will lead you to your spot to make sure you don’t hit them. There is also a nice fenced in pet area. Overall a great place to check out Tarpon Springs.

Nice park, a little cramped though spaces are tight, they have a boat ramp and docks, tether ball v ball horseshoes, and the organize bike rides on the local paths. Its 8 minutes away from the sponge capitol of the world which is a nice tourisy mostly Greek area with a lot of greek restauraunts and shops

We recently travelled through central Florida and this was our favorite campground and site. We paid the premium for the waterfront site and it was worth it! The fact that we saw dolphins from our site almost everyday was incredible. Likely not another campsite in the US this is possible from. They have a nice small park near the water as well for yard games as well laundry and bathrooms if needed. If you have a boat they have docks you can use as well. Our 2 yr old loved watching all the boats coming out of Tarpon Springs. Tarpon Springs is also a great town for exploring and lots of tour boats to go on as well. We also biked on the bike trail that starts about .5 mile away and goes through 2 local parks.

Key vista is my favorite park to take a dog in the area . It is 2 miles from hickory point but it is the only park for 5 miles where you can see the sun set on the water without any islands in the way . It is dog friendly with miles of hike trails , a tributary the length of the park that you can swim and fish in leading to the gulf beach . Also there is a lookout.
Tent guests are welcome to use RV sites (some restrictions apply). Then water and electric is available.
You can always check out our website at www.hickorypointrvpark.com . We offer seasonal rates and are comparably priced for the area.
Sorry - our tent sites are available for short term stays only.

Dollar golf trap and rv park they are better priced and favor their vets plus tgey got a range on grounda lots to do going back there next year instead of hickery
Call as soon as possible it a very nice but small park. They fill up for winter very early.
We are happy for you to have your guests visit during the day. We just ask that they check in at the front office and park in our designated spare parking sites.
We do offer annual sites, however at this time the sites that we do designate for annual rentals are all full. Definitely keep us in mind as we have plans in the near future to expand our park and very well may be looking to extend the annual rental offer to more guests!
Hi there! We do offer tent camping. It is primitive camping, meaning no electric or water at the site. We have a very large wooded area which runs the entire depth of our park that we allow tent campers to camp. It is $50.00 per tent per night, up to 2 guests are allowed in a tent and due to burn restrictions we are not able to have camp fires at this time.
I'm A rookie with a38 foot Winnebago adventurer. I fit in one of the drive throughs right near the shed where you check in. It is tight, but, when you calm down, visit moosh, the pig making his rounds, around sunset, head near the water, enjoy s something cold, but bring bug spray. Wonderful views, pricey, but not out of line at this time of year. Tarpon springs is a great little tourist trap but I lived in New port Richey 12 years, only found hickory point last fall. Nice kitschy spot.
They don't rent RVs they just rent RV spots
