Planet fitness is a decent commercial gym but the staff needs work

I moved back from Tampa fl to Irvington 2 months ago, and last week I decided to give this planet fitness a try uugh...unfortunately I don't like because it's too small and they barely have bench equipments 🤦🏾♂️ I miss my gym in Tampa

The older people working here are so unnecessarily rude Especially that lady with the weave She's the worst and was nasty towards me at multiple occasions We're not even allowed to jump rope in a gym?? The young adults are awesome though but that woman gotta go I canceled my membership as of today

I really enjoy this clean and organized gym but I am extremely unhappy at the fact that it sometimes does not open at the advertised time. I got to the location five minutes after it was supposed to be open (5AM) and it was closed, I waited over 20 minutes before leaving; there were ten other customers waiting as well. Also, I saw customers waiting in the cold because they didn’t have a vehicle to sit in. It’s incredibly inconsiderate to not adhere to the scheduled time that is advertised by the site AND staff. I enjoy this gym but that was not okay.

They must've upped the age, because my son has been going with me since he was 13🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔. Anyways its always best to call the gym as they are individually owned and franchised
Yes there are showers, however they are blocked off in the meantime until guidelines are lifted at the gym.

Hi Timothy. Planet Fitness is a good gym,I think if you give it a chance you will enjoy it as much as I do. No one bothers you for anything, workout when and how ever you like. The gym is very clean the people are very polite and very helpful. I see you were asking are they open 24 hours a day. This is the only wrinkle with this gym at present they are not. This is because of the recent panadimic we all went through. Once the govenor says so the gym will be open 24 hours a day. For me I can't wait till that happens, I hope you give Planet Fitness a try you will love it, I do hope to see you there soon. Just so you know I am a member of the Planet Fitness in Irvington, New Jersey. Hope to meet you soon.

If you know someone who is a member, you can go for a day as their guest. Don't think they have a "daily rate".
I'm not sure about tanning but I know it has the aqua massage.
