Regency Park Assisted Living Facility

My mom was a resident here from August 2018 to September 2020. She sustained several injuries from falls and ended up having multiple hospitalizations and surgeries to treat the injuries. When she got sick and could no longer perform her ideals independently, they didn't remove or brush her dentures. My sister had to pry them out of her mouth. They were coated and crusted with gunk and dried up disgusting chunks of food. She hadn't been bathed for days. After she died in September 2020 my sister went to pick up her belongings. Several items were missing including bed linens, towels, a comforter, and a quilt I had made for her. When we asked what happened to them, nobody could give us an answer. We never even received an apology for hundreds of dollars worth of items that were taken from her room while she was dying. Don't put your family member here unless you have no other choice.

From what I know and hear from CNA that have worked there that they don’t like to do incident report or send patients out even when it’s head trauma. Beware

For anyone that works or worked for Regency Park first off I’m so sorry and second if your trying to change jobs and carry your Relias certifications over and Debbie or anyone else that works there tells you, you can’t because they paid for them. They are LYING,they are your classes and all you have to do is call Relias and they will set you up with your own account and transfer all of your certifications over so that you can print them and give them to your next employer. I also spoke with several residents who told me that there complaints and concerns were not being answered. Several times while I was employed here we worked short staffed and without proper supplies. ......I would not recommend this job to anyone the favoritism with in the facility is beyond ridiculous. No matter how hard you work they will treat you like garbage.

Regency Park is a wonderful place if you are considering placing your love one in a long term facility. The residents are cared for very well and management and staff are always there to meet your needs and the needs of your loved one. I would highly recommend this facility.
