We had a reservation but still had to wait half an hour to sit. They were out of a lot of things. I'll try it again and hopefully have a better experience.

Had heard a lot of things about this place so thought we'd try it out. Called for reservation and thought we'd be set. Arrived to find they had no reservation for us. Bad omen. However, they did have available table so not a problem after all. For starters, I had minestrone soup and my mate ordered house salad. Soup was like no other I'd ever had. I was expecting a hearty Italian soup with some vegetables, beans and macaroni. Got a broth with LARGE pieces of cauliflower, celery, zucchini and yellow squash. Mate's sales rather plain with iceberg, 2 olives, 2 grape tomatoes and a couple rings of white onions. Both very blah!Entrees, thankfully, were better. Nothing out- standing, but at least not as disappointing as the starter. The dessert, a ricotta pie with pistachios was the best part of the meal. Service was good and the dining room was packed given it was Christmas eve. These gals were working hard to take care of everyone. Overall, we would not return for another meal here. Sorry, but that's how we felt.
