If I could give zero I would. The least professional doctor I’ve ever encountered. My mother entered the ER at Tampa General with weakness. She was diagnosed with internal bleeding… she had to be taken off blood thinners in order to get an endoscope and colonoscopy. The endo was done on Monday with the Colonoscopy expected later same day. They then rescheduled. Delgado told my mom that if she stayed till Wednesday she’d be seen. Her hemoglobin was under 8 and being raised with transfusions. With no explanation the doctor said he couldn’t fit the procedure in and discharged my mom knowing she was at a stroke risk due to being off the thinners. Disgusting malpractice…. I hope his mother is treated the same way.

Avoid this place because I got no help here and they billed insurance for a PA to sit 6 minutes in the room with me and she said she would order EDG and blood work but I got no paper work to do so and cannot get answers from the office. The staff only care about going to lunch or going home. Worst GI facility in TAMPA!

Terrible front desk staff very inefficient. I spent two hours trying to contact the office. When I did, I waited two months for my apt and was told Dr. Delgado has rented the office out to his PA’s. I was not able to see the doctor and was told he is never here. The best that was offered was to wait longer for another apt with Dr. Delgado giving me a 90% chance that I would still not be seen by him. I wish I knew this in advance before taking time off work and WAITING months in discomfort hoping to see the person I had agreed to see to no avail. *my time was wasted under discomfort and stress and nothing was done to make it right.

I have just had a very anxiety producing experience and I would advise you to look somewhere else for your medical care. I have never met this doctor but I have met his very nice and competent PA. However, she set me up with an appointment for an endoscopy with Dr Delgado. The staff informed me they would call me the day before and give me the time of my appointment which I thought was strange considering I need to arrange someone to give me a ride. They NEVER called. I left a message at 10 am calling to check in on my appointment time. NO one called back. I called again 30-40 times through the day and it always went to the answering service who informed me they could not help since it was a scheduling issue. I called the ambulatory center he operates at and they said they "think" he comes in for 10:30 but they thought it was strange I wasn't given a time. They said the office didn't answer for them as well. They said they would confirm and return my call. They DID NOT. It is now the day of my endoscopy, a day I took off of work and I am sitting here hungry and still unsure if I have an appointment. I was up all night with anxiety. Should I let someone preform an operation on me when I do not trust them. Even if this was a clerical error. I have left voicemails, emails, called 50 times, and spoke to someone at the center and NOTHING. I think respect and professionalism should be expected when dealing with your medical care and obviously this is the not the practice or the doctor where you will find either of those things. Please look elsewhere and save yourself this horrible experience.
