(LAZY repulsive, unfriendly staff), and i promise the worst wifi connection u will ever experience. *NOT SAFE* MANY street people are catered to by this library. Street people smoking drugs and drinking alcohol on property! Its simply not safe! I have protection every time im in that area! The police are called there often. See below..

The staff is helpful and friendly. They have a wonderful children's library area. MY son absolutely loved visiting this library and we will most definitely be returning.

This is my favorite library. A small, quaint beach library with 1960s-style design. The shelves list the subject matter as well as the Dewey Decimal numbers so that it was easier to browse sections without having to look it up on the computer. I had been to three other St. Petersburg libraries looking for particular titles, and this library was the only one that had all of them. They also have a lovely children's section with books, games, and what looked like puppets and costumes inside some cupboards for story time events. There's a small DVD selection that lets me pretend I can still go out and rent movies (I miss those days!). It is clean with a decent layout and friendly staff. I highly recommend it.
