I took my son with cold symptoms! Waited 2 hours and when i asked how long was the wait ! Front desk staff was rude and said there was 21 people in front of you, there were only 4 cars in the parking lot ! Terrible customer service! Front desk staff will determine a positive or negative outlook of a organization and definitely this clerk showed a negative vibe ! Enclosed is the representative!

Called several times, phone kept hanging up, finally got ahold of someone after 20 minutes and was told wait time would be 1 - 1 1/2 hours, I was there a total of 3 hours before I was called back to the room. When I went to front desk to inquire about how much longer it would be, front desk staff was very rude. Medical assistant was nice, provider was nice, but definitely need to have more providers on site to reduce wait time for patients.

There’s either no doctor/provider or there’s only 1 and they’re so backed up that you’ll have to wait 5 hours. 4 days in a row I’ve tried to take a drug test for work… I’ve shown up 10 minutes before open and called a few times in a day. I’ve also left work early. Maybe I’m just the unluckiest person in the world but I never knew peeing in a cup for work would prove to be so difficult to do.

I was in a somewhat dangerous boating accident and had to come ashore for medical attention! Our friend John Wallace of Wallace Bait suggested your location and Promptly brought me over! The staff was magnificent from the initial check Raz & Adam, in to the Physician Assistant Tammy, taking care of my injury! Having been a nurse for a major hospital I’ve always had a certain care and respect for what I see as my brethren in the field, especially during this pandemic! I’d recommend this location anytime based off this very caring and professional visit! Being so far from home(LA) and having such a ease with the check in over the phone and smoothness with my insurance I’m a happy camper! My only regret was not asking to see if my triage nurse was single! She was beautiful & brilliant and amazingly enjoyable! Made me forget all about my pain!

$119 for an office visit that includes basic testing like strep and flu, and oral medications. $189 includes all of the basics plus xrays, injections, and breathing treatments. More involved cases, considered "Tier 3" like stitches or casting of broken bones result in a maximum cost of $239.

Do you guys help with people who have really bad teeth pain.. my back tooth is literally killing me?.. :(

Bookie Coco | Sep 6, 2018
Brian Hall | Sep 6, 2018

I would recommend going to a dental provider where you can get set up for a root canal. The dentist will give antibiotic & pain medicine for you to take until the root canal. The Urgent care facility will give you antibiotics but most likely NO pain medicine because it is Temporary relief to a problem that needs correction by a procedure. Dentist will give you pain medicine because you have an appointment to fix.

What types of COVID-19 testing does MedExpress offer?

MedExpress Urgent Care | Sep 5, 2021
MedExpress Urgent Care | Sep 5, 2021

MedExpress is offering COVID-19 evaluations and testing at designated centers to help support our local communities' health care needs amid the pandemic. In order to ensure individuals receive the highest-quality care and treatment, all individuals seeking care at MedExpress for known or suspected COVID-19 cases will receive an examination by a MedExpress health care professional who will determine if testing is needed and which testing method may be most appropriate, including rapid antigen and laboratory send-out PCR COVID-19 testing. Please note that for the most accurate COVID-19 test results, the CDC and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) recommend that individuals who are not showing symptoms, but who have had close contact with an individual who has tested positively for COVID-19, wait five to seven days after the known exposure to get a COVID-19 test. Additionally, the CDC and AAFP recommend self-quarantining for 14 days after a known exposure to COVID-19, even if no symptoms are present.

Good morning, how much does the civid test cost me and how many days does it take for the results?

Dulvis Espinosa | Sep 5, 2021
MedExpress Urgent Care | Sep 5, 2021

Many health insurance companies across the country have stated that they will cover the cost of testing for COVID-19. However, it is a good idea to check with your insurance company to learn if it covers the test and what portion of treatment may be covered based on the specifics of your individual health plan. For those without insurance, self-pay services for the medical evaluation and treatment received from our medical providers start at $119 in Florida West centers. This price does not include any fees incurred by our lab partner, LabCorp. Timing may vary depending on the volume of tests being performed by our commercial lab partner, but, at this time, it currently takes around 3-7 days for patients to receive send-out laboratory results. If you were tested at a designated MedExpress testing center and are awaiting your results, a member of our team will call you once we receive the results.

Can we schedule an appointment ahead of time if we need it 72 hours prior to traveling?

Gladys Campos | Sep 5, 2021
MedExpress Urgent Care | Sep 5, 2021

Thank you for reaching out! Due to the increased demand for COVID-related visits amidst the pandemic, our wait times to be seen may be longer than usual at some of our centers. MedExpress is not scheduling appointments, however, when you visit a center, our team members may recommend a time slot for later in the day that will help to reduce your wait time. Thank you so much for your patience and partnership as we work together to meet the testing needs in our communities.
