If I could give 0 stars I would. This department is helping nearly no one, while dozens and dozens I've personally met are in crisis (housing, nutritional, medical, mental, substance) on the streets. What is this department even for if not to help those in need? FAIL

You can walk-in during intake days & hours. Doors open at 7:30am. Numbers are given out, and once the last number is distributed, intake in done for that day. Walk-ins are Mon,Tues, Thursday & Friday (closed Wednesdays). You can also call intake, #239-533-7996, to request a phone screen from a case manager.
Also, this is the place to go to apply for Medicaid, food stamps, etc..Right?

You will need to call your electric company to see if a commitment was made to your account. If no commitment was made, you can call #239-533-7930 & asked to be transferred to the LIHEAP department.

To apply for rental assistance, she can go to the office. They take walk-ins..Mon, Tues, Thurs & Friday, intake is closed on Wed. Doors open at 7:45am & it's a 1st come, 1st serve number system.
