I was even afraid to write a review so it doesn’t get crazy busy ! This is indeed our favorite spot on siesta key . I even love the walk from the parking lot to the beach. My boys always see a bunny or snake or lizard and the boats that are at the end of the walk.

Nice parking area with about a 300 yd walk to the beach through the dune field and a short stretch of trees and brush. Very pretty area and very convenient.

Questions & Answers

Good pizza joints? I tried Solorzano’s and it’s soggy overpriced junk. Smells weird too.

Try RipFire. It’s got great pizza. Solorzano’s does suck!

I agree, it could be considered wheelchair accessible. The problem will be the sand definitely. It is really soft and you may fight with pushing through it, unless you have bigger/ fat wheels for something of this nature. I know some people may have such a thing for situations like this.

Who do you call if you see someone at the beach with a dog?

You can call the County Sheriff’s Office but by the time they show up the person and dog will be long gone. Most are not service dogs but a holes who call them service dogs cause they don’t think the rules should apply to them and they let the dogs run all over peeing and crapping everywhere. Because they are a holes and they are not liked by anyone but the dog they incorrectly assume that it’s a service dog.
