Nice homes but overpriced, the website prices are at least $30,000 more in real life with delivery and setup. We found a nice home with the same floor plan from homenation.com for almost $30k less ($105k vs $133k installed) than CH of Lakeland, and that price includes Wind Zone 3 and a 7 year warranty.

Everything at Clayton Homes is so clean, that it's almost as if everything is brand new no matter how many months or years pass. What're they doing to make it so clean?? Replacing it or something?!

If you are looking to purchase a new mobile home this is the place and the people who can make it happen. My wife and I never felt unwelcome, uncomfortable or overwhelmed with the experience we had with the staff at Clayton Homes.

Me and my husband dealt with this company for three months. Was planning on using them. We have heard horror stories from multiple people about the lack of communication and one particular employee charity. If you read the comments on here every comment you see talks about the lack of communication and that is exactly what you get. After hearing all the stories we were planning on backing out but was called in for a meeting by the general manager who promised us that everything we have heard was from the previous general manager and asked us to please give them a chance. But three months later have seen no change. When you call up there you will always be told that she will give you a call back and it never happens. They will tell you what the next steps are but will not start them unless if you call and stay on top of them, which really annoys them. I was told that one process (the variance) was paid for then two weeks later get told it has not been paid for. I was told that I was going to have a survey in the next week which I had to call up there and ask about it just for them to be able to schedule it. They are terrible at keeping you up-to-date with what is going on. In three months the only thing that they did was do a site inspection which is them coming out telling you yes the house will fit. And today they called us in for a meeting just to tell us that they will no longer be able to help us because this process is too stressful for us and too long of a wait.
