Ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza over the phone. When I arrived I got a pizza that was super thin crust. I was confused thinking they only sold Chicago deep dish pizza. Spoke to an employee who told me next time when ordering to specify deep dish. They happily remade the pizza for me and it was delicious! First time trying Chicago deep dish and it did not disappoint!

So seriously a sit-down dining Pizza Joint wouldn't normally get 5 stars but you can't find anything wrong with Paul's. Paul's is always excellent I have been going there for many years was turned on to it by coworkers. Their thin crust is excellent the owner is kind and genuine and attentive the ingredients are top-notch they don't skimp on the portion sizes and have eaten there at least 25 times in the last 5 years and have never had a subpar experience. This is always a good bet to eat, I had had the garlic knots and has had draft beer here in the past it's always good. I recommend Paul's to friends and family all the time.

Got 6 Chicago dogs and was totally let down! Barely any relish,as you can see in the picture, the dog itself was hard,rubbery,and tough! Most definitely not David Berg meat or anywhere close to it. I lived in Cicero for 30 years,and was so happy to find Chicago dogs down here. Unfortunately, it just was not to be!

Chicago pizza is an acquired taste and not many places do it well. This place screams "Windy City" and the number of native Chicagoans eating in the tables alongside me attest to the fact that they do it right. Would I recommend this place? I would take a sack from Khalil Mack off the Sears Tower into Lake Michigan for a pie from this location. Get the original deep dish, the garlic bread bites, and start diet tomorrow.
