Call to get assistance on a payment arrangement and had the rudest guy ever on the phone ask him to look up the amount that I have to pay he said well did you get a letter obviously not wanting to do his job very poor customer service

I’m surprised to see so many negative reviews. We’ve had several interactions with the utilities representatives, as well as representatives from other Sarasota county and city departments. I’ve consistently found them to be efficient and helpful.

Very unorganized , and rude.they have a monopoly over the area and charge far more for their water/trash service than the county . the people that work there will mess up payments and shut off your service claiming you didn't pay , it happen three times in the last 5 years lucky I keep receipts but they tried to charge me $500 for a deposit once because of their mess up and refused to turn my water back on until I paid it , it took a whole week of fighting them and talking to every manager for them to realize that they had wrongly turned off my water apparently someone with a similar name opened an account and they put them on my account also , but I went a whole week without water because of them and they had the audacity to say the reason they need $500 is because and I quote "you are a horrible customer" and that they can charge what ever deposit they see fit even though my average water bill is $80

Call the city to have someone come out to check to see if it's low pressure on the city side or the customer side
