Taking a dump at the landfill

Been here for 6 years, finally brought a bunch of stuff to the landfill. The place was clean, the staff very nice and pleasant, the process simple and fast. Like others on here, feels odd rating a landfill, but I was very impressed.

I had negative review but I went today and it was much better.
I don't mind coming again when I work near this dump. Maybe just be careful if it rained or your vehicle isn't good on soft ground.
I see Uhauls there all the time, You should be fine depending the type of debris you have, as far as I know they have a side for household waste and a side for yard waste. I would assume if what you have falls under one of of those categories then you will be fine.
Can I drop off chemicals, paint remover?

Residents can drop off Household Hazardous Waste on the third Saturday of every month.
You should take anything metal (like a grill) to the scrapyard instead of the dump, a scrapyard will pay you for it instead of you paying to dump it like at the dump

They take everything out of your car or truck if you go the 3rd saturday. Ive never tried taking household waste or electronics during other times but they told me you can.

a toilet is a regular landfill item. But, the you have regular household refuse pickup, your hauler should pickup non hazardous items like this. If your hauler does not, contact the Manatee County Solid Waste Dept and file a missed pickup report.
They take most everything, just make sure you have it separated. They have the dump area for most trash, building trash, old furniture. They have an area for landscaping materials trees, brush, dirt. They have an area for recycling all electrical items, appliances batteries ect.
Does the landfill accept mini-refrigerators? If yes, is there a charge? Thank you

I usually only drop off tires but I believe you can drop off electronics any day.
I am buying a condo in Bradenton as a second home. My driver's license is in Virginia. May I use the landfill and if so, what do I need to bring for identification?

Every third Saturday of the month is hazardous waste day. This is a great thing that they do where you can dispose of all your paints and other hazardous materials, and this is a totally free service

Drive up to the scale house, they will direct you but once you go through the scales its your first left then youll see a large building which you drive through and you drop it off in there.. if its for a business be prepared to pay a hefty fee. For residential it will be free, but you may be limited to when they run household hazardous waste which is the 3rd sat of every month.

Im pretty sure they do.. may want to call to make sure they are accepting it at the time you want to bring it. Household haz waste is typically held on the 3rd sat of the month.
