The deal on Groupon for the dine-in for two is great. The steak was delicious along with the other food. The staff were very friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and full of bear decorations. We had a great time. I would recommend.

Solid joint. Classic neighborhood steak joint. Avacado egg rolls to start. They came with a weird bbq sauce but it was kind of good. Clam chowder was creamy and had enough clams, this dish could have used more salt but would totes eat again. Ribeye was cooked to my resquested med rare and was well seasoned. I traded out my baked potato for beans. Bad choice. The beans were mediocre at best . Apple pie was pretty good. Overall great neighborhood steak place. It's not fancy but will get you a good meal with friendly service. I will totally go again. Thanks for a great meal with the family HBD.

The Hungry Bear is quite possibly the best restaurant in all of Fullerton. The specialty steak is unfathomably good. Put a bit of steak sauce on it and it's perfect. Best steak I've had in ages! The vegetable beef soup was excellent as well. The service is great. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. All in all, one of the best places in the Fullerton area to dine, and I recommend everyone go try out their delicious steaks.

Cozy little place, made to feel much bigger with some good mirror placement. Not that it’s a huge deal but this restaurant definitely has an older crowd of patrons. The staff all seem nice and relaxed but still on it. Good atmosphere. The food options I was disappointed with. Everything was focused on eggs and pig (bacon/ham) of which neither I am a fan of. High heat meat is a carcinogen and cancer risk in humans; eggs increase your chances of cancer as well, though scientists still don’t know why. As someone with already higher risks for bad diseases, I just have to avoid as best as I can. Unfortunately, there are not great alternatives here.
