Let me start off by saying I love my BMW. I have owned 2 BMW’s and they are my favorite vehicles I have ever owned. I don’t normally write reviews for anything good or bad but my recent experience made me so angry I was very motivated to write this review. They asked for it so I’m letting them know. That being said I am passing on my recent experience I had at Thompson BMW service department. The people I interacted with were all very friendly, helpful and easy to deal with. HOWEVER, I took my car in for a factory recall. The reason I went there was my non dealership mechanic who I have been getting the car serviced at for the past few years said that with a factory recall I needed to go to the dealership. I made the appointment dropped the car off and also asked that they check a door lock problem I was having and let me know what needs to be done. They checked and diagnosed the problem and provided me with a solution. So far no issues. They then said I needed 4 new tires. 1 had a puncture due to a nail but they should all be replaced because the tread is running low. I said you have got to be kidding me. I then told then the tires were put on the car last July and had less than 10,000 miles on them. Not only that the car was just inspected in April and passed without any issues. To me this was nothing more than a way to suck $1500 out of me. So annoyed that this happened. Thompson has now lost my business for any and all future dealings. If I must get service done by a dealership it will not be Thompson. Why? Because I can’t trust them.

Poor workmanship at the service center came in for something simple in my opinion. Small issue with the ambient lighting where they needed to be change. Parts had to be order took a few days fine. I just got the car back and notice the roller for vent is literally inside the vent. This is an issue because you can't adjust air flow the picture tell you everything about the tech double checking his work. Two star because it's great that I got a loaner with no wait time. I'll see if this gets fix. I'll change my rating to 5 star Adjustment- I managed to fit it myself so no need for anything else. I still like this place just because of the loaner I got in such a short notice. Service tech still no good. Two more stars for the loaner. 😅 Update- will be calling. Have 2 more issues now.

I called at the last minute about an indicator light. They had me bring my car in immediately and had a loaner for me right away. I was really grateful for that. There was some other maintenance I needed on the car which they took care of promptly and they let me know that I needed new tires but not did not try to oversell me on them. I also appreciated that very much. I always have great service at Thompson BMW.

Nathan as well worked to tailor the transaction to meet my needs while ensuring my BMW was adequately protected with coverages. 😊 Thank you both!
