The mayor, and city council, have done a great job in leading Lancaster into the future. I really like the online permits and other services becoming available. If they keep going like this a year from now I will be able to give them 5 stars. In this era of absolutely terrible leadership in Sacramento it is refreshing to see excellent leadership at the city level.

TERRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE, THE 4 TIMES I HAVE GONE THEY HAVE CLOSED AND LOCKED THE DOORS BEFORE 6 PM ALL 4 TIMES A MONDAY. JUST A REGULAR MONDAY NOT A HOLIDAY NO EXCUSES UPDATE THE HOURS OF OPERATIONS OR CLOSE WHEN YOU ARE REQUIRED TO NOT BEFORE. RIDICULOUS THIS NEEDS TO BE TAKEN CARE OF I THOUGHT IF I TAPPED ON THE GLASS LIGHTLY JUST OUT OF COURTESY MAYBE THE RECEPTIONIST WOULD GIVE ME A REASON AS TO WHY THEY CLOSED EARLY OR LET ME IN SINCE THEY SHOULD OF STILL BEEN OPEN. INSTEAD AN EMPLOYEE SEES ME APPROACHES THE RECEPTIONIST TO LET HER KNOW IM AT THE DOOR AND I COULDNT HEAR WHAT WAS SAID BUT THE NICE EMPLOYEE JUST LOOKED BACK AT ME AND APOLOGIZED. AS IM HEADED BACK TO MY CAR THAT SAME EMPLOYEE IS WALKING OUT THRU A BACK EXIT THEY HAVE SO I ASK IF IT SHOULD BE CLOSED THIS EARLY SHE SAYS NO I TRIED TELLING THE RECEPTIONIST BUT THE RECEPTIONIST TOLD THE EMPLOYEE SHE WASNT SURE WHO LOCKED IT.... SERIOUSLY? ???? LETS SEE IF ANYTHING GETS DONE ABOUT THIS ISSUE ILL GIVE IT A FEW DAYS. NOT HAPPY ZERO STARS ONLY REASON I GAVE ONE IS TO BE ABLE TO LEAVE THIS COOMMENT/ COMPLAIN!

Yes, you can set up an appt with the city clerk office
Can I request a birth certificate online? How much does it cost?
Yes it is. If your paying your parking ticket you can do so with the Finance Department, which is on the first floor of City Hall. If you want to check the status of the parking ticket or contest it you could go to the Public Safety Department, which is located next to the Finance Department in City Hall. Have a nice day
